Artist UEDA Kana from the exhibition "Ceramic Encounters" will conduct a live art demonstration in the gallery’ｓ Interactive space.
This event has been canceled. Artist Talk with TSUCHIHASHI Miho will still be held at 1:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m., and Curator's Gallery Talkwill also be held at 3:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. on the same day.

Artist Profile
UEDA Kana
UEDA Kana, Inlaid Pebble, 2024, Collection of the artist.
(1992-) Graduated from the Ceramics Program, Department of Craft and Industrial Design, Musashino Art University in 2015. Guided by the shapes and textures that emerge by chance during the process of carving lines and dots into clay, she creates works that evoke the processes of nature. Through repeated observation of natural objects and experimentation with materials, she attempts new forms of expression through ceramics. She also collaborates with individuals attending the welfare facility “8-18” on painting and ceramics projects. Major exhibitions include “Seeing Stones” (2024, Tokyo, ROUND ROBIN).
