The "Kids meet" series of children’s programs creates opportunities for children of diverse backgrounds to meet by change, encounter things they could never have imagined, and talk to each other through art experiences. Our aims are for these experiences to broaden the way children see the world and expand their worlds, and to draw out in the children a rich imagination that respects diverse values.
For Kids meet 05, we are launching art space “BA, BA, BA” as a place (ba) to create, a place to connect, and a place for children (and adults) to play, in the hope that creativity will foster a welcoming atmosphere for all. Come and enjoy your time as you like—draw pictures, make objects, or just take a break. During the opening period, there will be workshops with artists, and accessibility supporters will use sign language to read picture books to visitors.

Kids meet 05 “BA BA BA” is mindful of material reuse, and makes use of waste (cardboard and packing materials) generated by our operations as art materials. Participants can take their creations home or display them at the venue for a limited period (3-4 days). Exhibited works will then be dismantled and used as materials by others, becoming other creations.
