Variations
Through a talk, a performance and an exhibition, Section for Inclusion in the Arts, Museum of Contemporary Art Tokyo will think about what shapes a society in which diverse people live together in mutual harmony should take.Variations is a musical term referring to a piece of music in which the melody changes in various ways based on a certain main theme. Just like a variation, this event will bring together a researcher, an artist, a dancer and a curator with various backgrounds to share their perspectives. In this way, the event will create an opportunity for the participants, together with the people attending the event, to imagine art’s diverse possibilities and to connect it to the future.
