Performance series "RAW" 【Online streaming】
Event Overview
The performance series "RAW," which is part of the Tokyo Metropolitan Shibuya Koen-dori Gallery Exchange Program, is a project that develops a place for "live expression" that is difficult to handle in the form of an exhibition, such as music, dance, theater, and dialogue, based on the reactions of the artists and the audience. Expressions that do not fit into a box will be shared as site-specific performances that take advantage of the characteristics of the gallery located in Shibuya.
RAW01 will be performed by Sokerissa, who presents the bodies of people who have lived on the streets as dance, and AKKOGORILLA, a rapper who works energetically in advocating gender issues and assembling an artist empowerment party. RAW02 will be about exchange of expressions between Zan Yamashita, who has been creating expressions that question the concept of dance by incorporating words, and the Otoasobi Project, in which members with and without disabilities perform free improvisations unconstrained by conventional music. Please see how the bodies presented in each way interact with each other.
*This year, due to the spread of covid-19, the program will be delivered online.
